GOLDSTEIN.DIGITAL is a brand of netvalue GmbH. netvalue GmbH is the controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website.
2. Scope
This privacy policy applies to the GOLDSTEIN.DIGITAL website at goldstein.digital (German and English). Websites and apps presented on or linked from this website are governed by their own privacy policies. This policy explains which personal data we collect, for what purpose we process it and to whom we disclose it. It is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3. Data collected
Server log files
When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects technically necessary access data: truncated IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and version, operating system and the referrer URL. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a functional and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / Art. 31(1) FADP).
No cookies
This website does not set any cookies. There is no A/B testing, no advertising tracking and no cross-device recognition.
Your browser’s local storage
If you select the grid or list view in the project index, this setting is stored exclusively in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so that it is retained on your next visit. This value contains no personal data, is not transmitted to us or to third parties and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. Storing it is necessary for the function you have requested.
Contact
This website does not contain a contact form. If you contact us via the email address or phone number provided, we process the information you share exclusively to handle and respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is the pre-contractual or contractual relationship initiated by your enquiry, or your consent.
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., Jonavos g. 60C, Kaunas, Lithuania. Hostinger processes the server log files described above on our behalf; a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
5. Web analytics with Umami
For audience measurement we use Umami, an open-source, privacy-friendly analytics software. We host Umami ourselves on our own server at Hostinger (analytics.netvalue.ch). The instance is operated by netvalue GmbH - that is, by us; no third-party processor is involved, and the data collected does not leave our infrastructure.
Umami does not set cookies and uses no cross-device identifiers. Only the following is recorded: the page visited, the referring page (referrer), browser language, screen resolution, browser, operating system and device type, and the approximate origin derived from the IP address (country, region and city). Your IP address is not stored; it is only processed briefly to determine this approximate origin and to form an anonymous count value that changes daily. This does not allow us to identify individual persons or to recognise visitors beyond a single day.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / Art. 31(1) FADP). As no cookies are set and no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent is required. Umami also respects your browser's Do Not Track setting.
6. External services and links
Fonts (Inter, Fraunces, IBM Plex Mono), images, stylesheets and scripts are served exclusively from our own server - no connection is made to Google Fonts, content delivery networks or other external services. We do not embed any external scripts, maps, videos, social media plugins or advertising services.
This website contains links to the websites of our clients and to our own projects. A connection to the respective provider is established only when you follow such a link; the respective operator is responsible for any data processing there.
7. Your rights
Under the FADP and the GDPR, you have the following rights: access to the data stored about you, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure of your data, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing. To exercise your rights, please contact the controller named above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with a competent EU supervisory authority.
8. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, in particular end-to-end HTTPS encryption of this website and restricted access to the hosting environment.
9. Changes
We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The current version applies from the date stated above.
